    Thumbs down Defense Technology OC Spray

    As an advisory to our members, I recommend against doing business with Defense Technology, Inc., out of Casper, WY.

    Even though they advertise in gun magazines (Combat Hanguns, Sept 06 issue, page 11),
    their distributor in Montana will not sell OC products to civilians. (They only sell thru distributors). Incidentally, Montana law does not prohibit civilian possession of OC.

    That's too bad, because they make a handy little pocket unit that's good for about 5 one second discharges. I have one that was given to me 5 years ago, but I wanted to replace it due to its age.

    Crummy way to do business, if you ask me.

    Actually, I just ordered a DPS 2 ounce OC canister from J&L Products today. It's been shipped already.
