My AR rebuild is nearly complete...all I need is a reliable optic. CDNN has these optics available for super cheap. They sound nice and all, but Im skeptical. thought Id run it past you guys and get some feed back. This is pretty much a knock off aimpoint red dot, its advertised as water/shock/fog proof in the catalog, but to what effect?
Let me know what you think.
I personally would stay away, they liik like cheap airsoft stuff. Try Primary Arms if budget is such an issue. I have the Vortex Strikefire which is a "bargain" Aimpoint style red dot for about $140, I have been happy with it so far. I have read good things about the Primary Arms line, they run a little cheaper. An optic that does not hold zero will drive you nuts, believe me. Check out AR15.com, lots of discussion on the subject. And before the AR folks flame me, I agree that the real thing or EoTech is best, but this is a budget issue, LOL.
I'd rather be lucky than good any day
There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.
Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.
