I do like the umbrella, but I do not like its price ($189.95)

OK, the price is a little steep. But when he lays the umbrella across the chairs and .... (I'm not gonna spoil it for other viewers).... I would not have believed you could possibly do that to an umbrella.
And let's face it, the surprise factor when some BG attacks and you defend yourself with an umbrella. The BG will laugh (and probably get careless) until he gets quickly knocked out.
It's truly the most innocent-looking (but capable) defensive tool I've seen.

$190 for an umbrella? Holy (edited).I stay with my $30 sword umbrella.
Does he not know it's bad luck to open an umbrella indoors.....

Im a big fan of the .22LR for bear defense.
Just shoot the guy next to you in the knee and run like heck.
Pretty expensive weapon, but in some places it will be much better than nothing.![]()

If you like the umbrella go for it, just bet three or four of your friends 50 bucks a piece you can walk across the umbrella without it breaking ? Ok maybe go to the bar and ask, leave your friends out of it.

Kind of stand out on a sunny day. A nice walking stick fits all occasions.
I found out that my cane, which I used before when I had a torn MCL 3 yrs. ago, has enough weight when swung using a power stroke. An umbrella at that price of $187 is too expensive and even then, it's just too obvious to attract unwanted attention if the weather is clear and you are carrying that. It's similar to as if you are wearing a trenchcoat in 80 degree weather.
Probably could not carry this in NJ, NY, IL, or CA!

Better than just about anything, really. I think it's probably the best thing for the frequent flyer. Looks as effective as a cane, but less likely to arouse suspicion or weird looks if you're not injured or elderly.
Sword canes are obviously a big no-no in most places.
Hakkaa päälle!
I hope you are joking.Surely you dont believe that crap.
Awesome idea for airplane use.If only i could swing that much for an umbrella...
The bet thing might get you into a serious fight if you went into a bar.Stick with friends,or better yet, family!
