Shopping for new gun belt
So, I finally got around to losing some pounds, with more to go. I need a new gun belt badly. I currently wear a Dom Hume B109. I OWB carry a full size .40, so I would like (I think) a slightly stiffer belt that is 1.5" wide.
What manufacturer / model would y'all recommend as a replacement?
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!

I've never bought a "gun belt' where i haven't walked in and told them what I wanted. Mine always have been custom made locally once I realized that belts bought from Sears just didn't cut it. I'll almost bet you can find a good leather shop locally. Best place to go IMO.

The Beltman makes a good stiff belt and if you think that you need it, you can add a internal stiffener as an option. Since you are carring a full size pistol ( OWB ) this might be a good option for you. My ( bullhide ) doesn't have the internal stiffener, I don't need it and I'm glad that I didn't get it. It's very stiff without it.

Belts
Here's my "short list", all are 1.25" or 1.5":
Wilderness 5 Stitch Instructor Belt
Milt Sparks
Kramer
Mitch Rosen
Jim The Beltman"
Bruce Gibson
Matt del Fatti
I hope that helps. I'm sure that one of them would make what you are looking for, as well as some others that I don't have on my list.

The High Noon with the plastic laminated in it is a no go if you intend to lose more weight, cannot be cut down. If you want a dressier belt, shark is hard to beat.

I got one from A & G. Great belt for a fair price. Great service!
I'll be getting a second one Early next year.

The plastic laminate does not extend to the part of the belt where the holes are.

I've been wearing A&G Leather gunbelts for a few weeks now; I couldn't be happier with them or their product.

Correct myself to High Noon will not cut down their laminated belts.
