Thinking bump in the night vest

I think that a goto vest for BITN is the best option for me, it could have my phone, flashlight, pepperspray, nightstand pistol with extra mag(s).
Dont want a tac or ccw vest, something in between - basically Batmans utility belt, but more like a shoulder rig vest with inside dedicated pockets.
What has anyone seen anything that might fit the bill? I'm thinking I can customize a carhartt maybe but I think there may be a product that I haven't seen.

You might try the Ribz FrontPack which is a great multi-purpose pack designed to be worn as counter-balance to a backpack or stand alone as a front chest pack. Great for camping, hiking, trekking, hunting, or you can set it up to use with your home defense goodies and still be able to reconfigure it for it's intended purpose. Available in Black, Leaf Cammo or Blaze Orange.

You can get them at Survival Resources.

Here is a link to the manufacturers site, however they are sold through distributors. Ribz FrontPack

no ninja thong, just something between a concealment vest, work vest. At work for phone, knife, light, etc. , at home at night add the nightstand pistol hang it on my chair next to my bed. If I need to get up for something, I want it all together good to go. something like Carhartt or Dickies with some dedicated holster and mag rigs, nothing fancy, but then nothing screaming Photographer either.

What about instead of a vest something like the jumbo pack? http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/...IPACK-4p31.htm

For BITN, I prefer the Bat Belt.

Look at their Loadmaster vest. Looks very modular and able to be set up how you want.

    I also like these

    Gent's,

I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every single time I feel like I may be a bit paranoid I get to come online and read a thread like this! LOL....... Sorry I have this picture of a guy in old school pajama's or a robe with one of these batman belts clearing a house in the middle of the night.

BITN, I'm a lite and fast type. Gun, flashlight, clothing optional. Nothing says get out of my house like a naked middle aged white guy with a gun.

    Are you serious?

How bout this. Save up for 5, 10, or 20 BITN vests, then don't buy any - just take the money and go buy 1K rounds of ammo and a good two-day defensive pistol class. Stop being a gear-junkie and go get some training.

Do not confuse the value of good training and ability with good equipment. One does not negate the value of the other, but rather, enhances it.

Agreed. A good handgun or shotgun, a weapon mounted and/or handheld light, you should be good to go. I understand the need to have good equipment, but we're talking about a tac-vest for when your cat knocks over a lamp at 3AM. Look at the recommended product in the post below yours.

A gear-junkie/wanna-be-tacti-cool-operator-type-person goes and gets himself a dedicated weapon system including a hi-cap handgun, multiple magazines, tac-light, laser grips, a tac-vest, maybe some combat boots, a drop-leg holster, and possibly some night vision goggles for things that go bump in the night.

Me, I make sure I am as proficient as I possibly can be with my firearm and I go hunting through my home in my undies. It ain't pretty, but it's quicker to the draw, doesn't require me making lots of noise with velcro, snap-clips, or anything else that isn't necessary, and more importantly doesn't add the complexity of having to remember how to get that stupid vest on at 4AM when I'm just coming out of REM sleep.

I don't agree with the others who are laughing at the OP for being "paranoid" ... I'm laughing because of the absurdity of the need to be "Tacti-NutnTard".
