"The value you put on the lost will be determined by the sacrifice you are willing to make to seek them until they are found."
I laughed my tail off after watching and listening to this clip. I mean ‘ThugFinder’ really? Go ahead and say that three times and try not to bust out laughing!

i just saw a vision of Horatio Cane from CSI Miami, "well, looks like we are going to have to use (puts on sunglasses) the thug finder." YYYYYYYYYYYYYYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH HH!!!!!!!

Seems to be aimed at LE use, not for the average CCW civilian. Ask the military if they like IR technology...![]()

As an uninformed civilian, I don't understand why this device would not be a big help to law enforcement. I saw a live video once where a police helicopter was searching for a pair of bad guys using thermal and likely would not have seen them in the stand of trees. They directed cars to capture positions and got them in short time and few resources. How is that bad?
While the technology might be useful for LEOs, they ought to change the name of the "gizmo"! Thugfinder!!! Really??? The name itself is a marketing joke! Yep, just had a vision of ol' Horatio cocking his head to the side, like INchris said!Call it an Infrared Person Of Interest Locator Assistance Device or make up some catchy acronym, but Thugfinder!!!

OK, "Thugfinder" is a bit lame. Let's see what we can come up with: "PerpShow?" What would real live LEO's call it when hanging out with their buds?
I believe you are looking for this (click on the shades):
YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
It's a hand held IR camera. Cool, for the police. I don't see a real use for this with the civilian ccw market.

It comes with a tactical sling, so it must be made for the tacticool mall-ninja

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

So if they show up on the screen they must be thugs huh? It's OK to shoot anyone that this thing displays. Civillians and LEO's must not give off heat signatures!
