Kentucky,
Ho manny lunmes is your bulb? And what is the runtime?
I tryed Google, and saw something that said 115. The lamp in my g2 lamp assembly shines 120. Wich is very marginal, in compairison. If your run time is longer than a 10 min average, I might just make a swich.
To clairify my other post.
In my line of work, a flashlight is as important as my notepad or a firearm.
I didnt post "I would be lost withought my surefire" in responce to your post. Im sorry for miscommunication.

I plan on getting a Surefire G2Z to keep in my coat for my "CCW Kit"

Yes, a Surefire 6P. You never know when the lights will go out, or if you'll be home by dark.

I carry one everyday. Usually it is a Surefire L-4, some times a Z2 but lately I have been carrying the Night-Ops Gladius.

When dressed I carry a Inova T-1. On the headboard is my Surefire Aviator. So though one may not be "ON" me 24/7 a flashlight is always within arms reach.

The G2Z is a darn good light. I like mine better than I like the more expensive Z2.

Guess I am coming in late on this one...here is what is with me except for showers and other related things

Doubles very nicely as a impact tool, same size as a Kubaton.

I just added two DigiLight 1000XB-AE six volt lights to my flashlight (user) collection....the Army and Air Force Exchange Service had a sale on them for $19.99 with a nylon pouch, two batteries, lanyard, clip, two rubber grip/heat insulator sleeves, waterproof spare bulb/battery case, spare 6V lamp.
