surefire

i have a streamlight twintask 2L and i'm looking for 123 batteries and i was wondering if anyone used surefire batteries and if they were any good. i have duracell 123 camera batteries in it now and they are getting weak. so does these batteries hold up i can get 12 of them for 21dollars. thanks for the input

I feed my lil E1e with Surefire batteries and bought two boxes when they $15 a box.

Even with the increased price I think they will work out cheaper than buying from somewhere like Radio Shack.

Mine have been good for longevity so - no complaints.

+1 on P95's statement. Use 'em myself and they seem like good batteries at a good price.

i figured they were about the same as duracell or energizer life wise. anymore surefire battery testimonials thanks guys for the response

I've read reports that Surefire batteries are rebranded Energizers. Whether thats true or not is up for argument. They are good batteries though. I use them almost exclusively. I did get a bunch of Titanium brand batteries with a light and I'm still evaluating them. They are cheaper at $1 a piece.

Wouldn't surprise me, A guy who works at the Duracell plant here, says that Duracell makes most of those type batterys and puts others' brand names on them per contract...

You will be happy with the Surefire batteries. They work very well in my E2e lights - keep bright to the end. I hear that the Duracells works well also. Would be interesting to find out who makes the Surefire batteries.

I have 2-E2E's, 1-G2 & 1-Z3 and they use nothing but the Surefire batteries. Since I have 4 Surefires I order batteries 72 at a time, it saves on shipping cost since they ship free on any order over $99.

I used them in my surefire lights and they work great. I wasn't too excited about the price increase though

yeah but it is still a good price try to buy 12 duracell batteries. 10 for 2 at walmart so for 12 that would be 60dollars so

I have always used the Surefire brand batteries. I have accumulated 5 Surefire lights over the years and the Surefire batteries have worked well and have been cheaper as well.

As of late, I've been using Titanium brand batteries. $1 a piece. :)

I use Surefire batteries mostly, sometimes when I'm out and in need then I'll run to the store and get some Duracells
