Walmart for about $35 has a good kit. That and a bottle of Gunzilla and you're set.

Like most here I have so many kits from so many different companies. Check out the cleaning kits from Otis.

I like Shooters Choice CLP (smells like oranges), Hoppe's #9 oil, bore snakes, patches, and (for stainless weapons only) birchwood-casey leading cloths.
I have a push rod, brushes and loop for stubborn spots, a set of picks for tight corners and a pair of hemostats for getting patches into odd parts of weapons.

I have not found one kit that had everything i liked and wanted so I just assembled it all piece-meal

The Otis Elite Kit has all the bits and pieces for handgun & rifle .17-.50, shotgun .410-12ga, and muzzleloaders.

Another vote for the Otis kit, have the Elite kit and love it. A couple things I added was a good solid set of GI rods & Dewey Loop, mag/magwell brushes and standard patches.

I'm for the Otis kits as well. I find that their patch system has excellent barrel coverage for cleaning. Their combo cleaner/oil is decent, but since running out I've found that cleaning with Hoppes 9 does a much better job.

I'll add another vote for the Otis kits. I used it to clean my shotgun and firearms and found it to be very easy to use. That and GunZilla.

Glock27/ KaBar TDI/ MTAC Holster. I have more also, but this combination works well..

I like the Otis kit for handguns, however I much prefer a rod for cleaning a rifle or shotgun. I honestly have the remnants of 3 or 4 old kits and have just added pieces to them over the years. Just my $.02
