Long Guns in Vehicle
Lately i have been looking at the locking gun holders like what the Leos have in their cars with the electronic locks and such, it wouldn't be for as much of a defensive just as a way to keep the guns safe while hunting as i like to have a rifle with me all the time in case i see a coyote or anything like that. do you guys have any advice on which ones to look at.

Given how you say you want to use it. I personally like this one.

I ride around in a F150 4X4 with rifles all the time. All have scopes and I just put the muzzle down in the floor board and wedge the stock between the middle and passenger seat. They are supported really well even if someone is sitting in the seat. Works with the short carbines and my shotgun with a 32" barrel.

Incidently, its the same brand I have in my work vehicle. Very tough and nice stuff... but it is heavy.

If you go to that link and look there are sveral variations from the same company too. Maybe one of the others would work.
