Hey Everyone,
I was hoping somebody would have some input on a hard sided rifle/shotgun case (to fit two weapons). I was looking around at MidwayUSA and found the Plano Protector Pro-Max which I like the look of for the price.
Just wanted to get some input on what people here might have or would like to recommend, or any quality comments on Plano gun cases. Thanks!

What will you use it for?
Is it to transport to the range?
or to ship on an airline?

I don't see why the case you highlighted shouldn't be fine. I have used Plano cases for rifles and bows and have always been satisfied with their performance.

For airline use, I'd look at Pelican / Storm cases.
Start on E-Bay look for deals. Personally, I like the latches on Storm better than Pelican.
I looked at the Plano in your post, and I couldn't tell anything about the locking ability.
A case handed over to the airline has a way harder life than one riding in your car trunk,
and it needs substantial lock tabs too.
I've seen musicians buying a seat for their instrument rather than check it. (a cello in a hard case.)
