I had met someone about 6 months ago who showed it to me, I didn't get to hold it or use it but it looked real nice and it was very small. It is a bit expensive so I was hoping some other people might have used it... if not I might just take the plunge in a few months and then give a review here.

60 lumens for how much ??? I understand that we are in need of something rugged but.......... Don't get stuck with the SureFire'ish kinda lights. Look around.
The one that I carry in my backpack on my hunting trips is 120 lumens and it cost $70 bucks. It's a 5watt LED with two different power settings. One is like normal(the smaller SureFire's) and the high setting is blinding. It has a red and blue filter for blood trails and night vision also.---------

I didn't buy it just for the lumens.

RSSZ, what is the name of the light, sounds interesting.
3sh, I had an HDS, nice light, but try finding a Fire~Fly3...even nicer, smaller and brighter in my opinion.

I'll have to checkout the fire fly 3, the thing I like about the HDS one is the strobe feature and the SOS feature as well. Handy for me when out on the boat or diving... etc. Does the fire fly do something like that?

I thought about getting the fire fly when I was thinking about getting the HDS. When using rechargables, the HDS acts just like it would without rechargables. The firefly (iirc) does not act the same with rechargables as it does with primaries (regulay litium CR123's). Biggest reason is becuase the FireFly III wasn't readily available when I wanted to buy a new light.
The fire fly looks awesome. But, the HDS had the little extra that I was wanting.
