Brand new pants from 5.11. I like them so much I just got a second pair in khaki. Definitely an improvement over the taclites. I did a little video review.

I had seen those. They are a bit pricey, but the pockets look great. What do you stick in them?
They are expensive but I think they are much better than the Taclites. I usually keep gloves in my right pocket, cell phone in front cell pocket, knife, flashlight, pen, wallet, work phone. I think that's everything.
Do you ever carry magazines in the cargos or is that no go where you are? They almost look like suit pants. Are they that nice or still a bit rugged?
Sure, you could carry mags in the pockets. I just never do. I definitely wouldn't say they are dress pants but I suppose they have a dressier look than the taclites. I think they are still plenty and quite rugged.
I also did a comparison vid of the fit of the different 5.11 pants.
These pants are very nice

After having my first pair in khaki for a week, I just ordered 2 more in black and green. LAPG having 15% off might of had something to do with it as well. I hope they put out some more colors, like coyote or tundra.

I have a pair of Stryke pants. As a skinny guy, I like that they aren't as baggy as typical tactical pants. Price is a bit high considering what other tactical pants can be had for, but I'm guessing the differential will narrow once these have been on the market for a while.
I have about 6 pairs of 5.11, most in black & one in khaki that I wore when I was doing security work. Good pants, wear like iron EXCEPT the pockets. For some reason my pockets wore out fast in each pair. Too many keys I would guess. My "official" keys were worn on a belt key ring.
Thanks for the review. These sound interesting & I'll buy a pair of them when the local store gets them in.

That was the best 20 minute video about pants I have ever seen.

You should check out my other pant vids then. Some people accuse me of doing ONLY pant reviews. :-) I think I have way too many pairs of tactical pants. :)
