Is that the front activation pad model? If so, I own one, and the pad has to be gripped with a moderate force to turn the laser on. I don't know about unintentionally activating it as I don't carry the gun mine is mounted on. The grips are very ergonomic for me, I even like the little bump from the pad. That sounds like a very good deal for the item in question, though.
