    Not ideal. Not worth buying. Sorry.
    A 9mm might expand but a .45 will never shrink enough to fit 17 in the magazine.

    You might have at least added a piece of leather in the notch where you are going to rest the gun.
    Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.
