Ghost Ring sights on a pistol?

I shooting with irons on an M16, and much prefer it to the M68 CCO. It was looking at getting a tritium set up for my AR and ran across a ghost ring set for a Glock. Interesting, I don't know how I feel about it. Have any of you guys tried these sights? What do you think?

I tried a ghost ring on one pistol, but ended up going back to a notch, rear sight. I had a tendency to shoot the ghost ring like a shotgun, and my accuracy suffered.
