Tyler manufacturing is back to excellent customer service
I mailed my envelope with a personal check from AZ to OK on March 6th in payment for a #5 which did not show in stock on the website.
On March 9th the check cleared and today, 8 days after I mailed my check I had my #5 in my mailbox.
Not bad. Hopefully all of the transition issues are gone and they are back to the great customer service that Melvin Tyler used to provide.
It isn't pretty but it is functional.
Just thought I would let you all know how my first experience with Tyler in 20+ years went.

My first order took 9 weeks. I decided to order another one for my J Frame Smith recently and resigned myself to another long wait but was pleasantly surprised when the order arrived in less than 10 days. Looks like they may be back in the game.

Great news, I'm going to be ordering a couple in the next few days. The first .38 I ever shot had one and I've been pining for one since.

Well, I hope you guys are right. After reading some horror stories I was hesitant until I read this thread.
Having said that I've taken a leap of faith and put in an order for two. One for a J frame, and one for a vintage "Dick" Special.
The cheque cleared my account yesterday, so let's see how long it takes for them to show up.

And they arrived in the mail today!!
Just got the mail and there was a bubble pack envelope from Tyler.
Got some errands to run today, then I'll install them when I get home.
Yep, Tyler is back!!
