1. What make of sights do you have on your pistol and Why?
2. Is your front sight Red, Green or Orange.
3. Why did you pick that color (experience with colors, daylight shooting or all around shooting)?
Thanks,
Jim

Green Tru glows on my Glocks. with Tritium.
They are very bright, housings are metal, I just prefer the green.
Trijicon tritium green front sight with yellow rear sights.
For me, green stands out better, encouraging front sight fixation.
I'm not fanatical about my brand or choice. I do like having tritiums on my carry guns though. They look like regular dot sights during the day, but really stand out in low light. In steel housings, they're also tough and reliable.
Stock OEM sights on all pistols except my 1911. XS Bit Dot w/ standard size front dot. easy and quick sights.
Thanks. Reason I ask is I have shot my sons Glock 23 and I do not like the rear sight (white/clutter to me) and the front is to small. I am supposed to pick up my Glock 19 tomorrow and I want to change out the front sight.
I was looking at all the sights on the market and I like the AmeriGlo; Meprolight; Sevigny (w/AmeriGlo being the first in line). I have even looked at the Big Dot but I hear good/bad etc. I have not seen the XS dot Regular sight though.
I am old school and use to a plain sight system. I will carry this weapon and use it in some small com matches (nothing special really/fun w/in the club).
I do like the green and also I have looked at a red one in the day, didn't really like the red in the day but never seen a green in the day as well.
Hopefully the gun shop will have some mounted so I can check them out.
Thanks,
Jim
P.S. My 1911 stock sights are not good for me anymore, to small gap (seems tight, guess I'm getting older) in rear and that is clouding my front sight.
I hated the stock Glock sites. pay the extra and get the Tritium!
I have a red site on my PPK and I don't like it. ( the site that is)
I will check it out tomorrow and see what he has/has on the Glock.
Thanks,
Jim
For a fighting pistol good night sights, green front and rear. On my Glock I have XS big dots and love them. Put the big dot on the target and squeeze, simple as that.
