How my old cell phone is going to help me conceal

I figured out how to use my old bulky cell phone to help me carry in the summer when I'm just wearing shorts and a tshirt.
I hang it from my gun side front pocket and it pushes my shirt out and away from my gun that I wear IWB on the hip.
It works great and even wearing light colored shirts it still hides it.
If anyone asks why I carry two cell phones I just say one is for work and one is personal.

I have a feeling you will be answering that question a lot.

Neat idea!! I frequently carry my PDA, a Zire 72S, in a neoprene case on my belt, but I've been doing so on the weak side. Never even considered using it as a shield on the strong side!

When I hang the phone on my pocket it sticks out so you can see what it is. So no one should be asking what it is.

My husband also carries two cellphones, but one really is for work and the other for personal use.

Sometimes when my barrel imprints through my jeans, I shove my bandana down in my pocket so it covers it up.

I carried two phones for awhile and hated it. I worked it out so that I only need one now. I found carrying two to be incredibly bothersome. Maybe it's just where I live, but I felt like I was being asked about the second phone by every person I spoke to. It could be that I just don't like talking to complete strangers.

I do this all the time with an OWB holster gun to help camo the front top of the gun. Works great!

That's a pretty good idea, I was thinking about getting one of those multi item carrier thingies, hold multi pliers, flashlight, with the velcro flap, to kind of do the same thing.

Good to hear that it works, and works well.
