Good Place For A Gunbelt? Arriving Within A Week Or So??
THIS WAS POSTED FROM MY PERMIT THREAD.
If anyone can recommend a good place to get a GOOD double leather belt here w/in the next week or so that would be great. Also, if anyone can tell me what size belt width is considered "Standard" that would be good too. I personally (with no knowledge of what is standard) would prefer a wider belt to a thinner one.

There are a bunch of good hand made leather belt makers but... I get mine from Galco.
1 1/2" wide and just a little longer if you're carrying IWB.

1.5" is standard belt size.
I like the Wilderness Tactical Instructor Belt, but it is not leather.
Check with gunnersalley.com as they are wicked fast in shipping product and have good prices. They stock a lot of stuff, so if they have what you need you can have it in less than a week.

Got one almost two years ago. GREAT belt, still looks nearly new with almost daily wear. I highly recommend their belts, got it in less than a week. They state that it is a little longer than marked, (32=34) it is true.

I use 1.5" belts, seems most others do as well. For "custom" belts without the wait, try http://www.lightningarms.com . Craig and Audrey Chadwick carry select gear from Milt Sparks, Lou Alessi, Matt Del Fatti, Galco and Wilderness Tactical. They're good folks and offer great service.
