    Think this light is quality?

Looking for some opinions. Found this 240 lumens on eBay. It's rechargeable. Anyone think this isn't a piece of crap? Kinda cheap for a 240 lumens I mean.

    Look at this on eBay:

Guard Dog Security 240 Lumens Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight with 3 Light Mode

I would strongly recommend you consider this as an alternative, (Surefire 6P Incandescent Flashlight Tactical Prepper Hunting Bugout | eBay) not a lot more money and a WHOLE lot more quality! The lumens ratings on paper may not be the same, but in side by side tests, I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Nobody will second guess your decision with the SF!

    Good luck!

I would recommend something from Fenix or Streamlight. Either brand would be excellent quality. Surefire products are good also, but way overpriced, in my opinion.

I agree with this, all of these 3 brands are good.

You can look at reviews of the light you are looking at here: Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Guard Dog Security 240 Lumen Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight most of them are not so good...

Also look at the mag lite xl-50, I have one and it has been wonderful, 3 settings, very bright, and come on.. it's a mag lite :)

Don't go cheap on flashlights. They'll just frustrate you to the point that you'll list them on eBay for sale for a fraction of what you paid and go buy a real flashlight.

I agree. I've had zero complaints with mine.

You can get one for $20 delivered, and they are made in the USA.

that kinda cheapo lights can be purchased on dealextreme.
costco has some cheapo "tactical lights." 3 pack for like $15.
i personally wouldn't go cheaper than a fenix or 4sevens.

Another vote for Fenix or 4Sevens.

There are well-respected, tried & true lights that cost accordingly. There are lesser known lights that offer more "value priced" options. And there are unknown lights that claim to be high-lumen, to-good-to-be-true deals. This is the latter. I prefer the first, will experiment with the odd second & let other people buy the last.
