Ruger SP-101 and Taurus 605 Holster Compatability?

    Hey all :)

Lookin to surprise the wife with a holster, for her 605...

Anyone know how if it'd fit in a holster designed for an SP-101?

I am just guessing but suspect it could work - I got my first J frame rig three or more years ago - a Jim Burke from Dallas Market Hall gun show - and used that for my Taurus M85 and then the SP-101.

The SP had a smidgeon of barrel stickin out but otherwise a good fit. It's not guaranteeed as such but probably any ''generic'' J frame snubbie rig should work pretty well for most snubs.

Our holster guru's can probably comment better on this.

Thanks, P95.... Yeah, I think it'll work too.... I went ahead and ordered it, worst case, I can tell the wife "Now I have to buy the gun for this holster..." :)
