This doesn't directly answer your question but try Speed Strips. Easier carry for sure. Just a thought.

the only speedloader i've found that actually works with the lcr is the 5 Star SpeedLoader....

I prefer speed strips too, but go for a speed loader if that's what you want.
I saw in a you tube review of the LCR, that it uses the same speed loader as the S&W .38 sp
