Are range bags out of season?
I went to three stores looking for range bags. In each case, the clerks said, almost verbatim, "I am sorry sir. We normally carry quite a selection of bags, but we don't have any right now. We should be getting some in soon."
If it were one store, I could understand, but three. Is there another conspiracy going on that I am not aware of?

Sheesh, looking for a range bag after Labor Day. How gauche.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Yep Midway has 2 awesome range bags with their brand on them.
edit: this is the one I have. Don 't let the name "compact" fool you. It holds plenty of stuff. Easily 2 pistols, several hundred rounds, has 7 or 8 mag loops, end pockets, pockets here and there!

All things gun and ammo are flying off of the shelves due to the promise at the DNC for "common sense gun control legislation", which is code for "we are going to try to limit your stuff".

Yup, all set to buy this. Price is $30 but they wanted another $15 for shipping UPS....$25 if shipped via post office.
They just lost a sale. That is unless the bag is chock full of 9mm ammo.

I've had my range bags for years. Not sure what's going on now. Maybe it is due to demand? Crazy aint it? I just sit back in awe when these things happen. I also sympathize with your situation. I'm not beyond that.....been there plenty of times myself. I swore I'd never be there again.

Ditto. I was in the market for a range bag and then I noticed a Sears sale circular where a set of Craftsman toolbags (very similar to this) was on sale. The more I thought about it, the more sense it made. They cost a lot less than a "real" range bag, too. I use the loops/pockets on the inside to hold mags, tools, bottles of CLP, cleaning brushes, etc.

I have a computer bag that works great. It was an older bag that I had never used. Lots of pockets inside and out. Padded areas, room for tons of ammo. Best part is it was free. Got it as a door prize in a golf tournament.
