Have a bad experience with them? So far I'm not impressed, actually very mad with their poor handling of this situation.
I purchased a S&W M&P 10 round magazine from them, a couple of days later I found it cheaper on midwayusa, no big deal it had already shipped from 44mag... so I ordered off midway anyway with the intentions of just returning the magazine to 44mag.com since their return policy accepts 30 day returns.
So it arrives at the house, I open it... put it in another box, and ship it via the post office the next morning with the RMA # on the box.
After 5 days, I get a credit from 44mag for -$15.00. Half price. So I figured there was a mix up, I emailed them asking why I wasn't refunded the full amount minus the shipping... Here is their reply.
"The magazine showed damage from use or attempted use and it now cannot be resold as new. Technically we should not have accepted your return at all since it does not meet our return criteria. Since the magazine cannot be resold a 50% restocking fee was applied. A 50% fee does not even cover our losses with this magazine. The cost of the magazine was $29.99 minus 50% is $15. The $5 shipping portion of your order is not refundable. "
I replied with another email asking for a phone number to contact them at, saying the the magazine was returned the next day in the condition it arrived in. Still no response from them days later......
I was going to be buying a few Magpul AR mags from 44mag.com before this happened ....
