I carry my spare mag in my left front pocket as well, as well as my cell-phone and chapstick. I have thought about getting a dual mag pouch and using one pouch to hold a spare mag, and the other for a flashlight.

I carry HK P30 mags (doublestack) and have tried a number of pouches and have likewise been unhappy about how bulky most of them are.

The best I've found so far is the Mitch Rosen 5DM:

    http://www.mitchrosen.com/product_li...cessories.html

The design allows it to be pulled tight, it provides a curved rather than boxy profile, and the leather construction allows it to fit to your specific waistline curve.

The Raven Concealment double pouch is probably my second choice. Not too bulky, but not a smooth shape like the 5DM and doesn't flex to fit your curves.

I use the highnoon double mag carrier (Double Take) It may appear to be bulky but the high ride height helps to make it comfortable with the way I wear it. I typically carry it the same way a person would appendix carry a firearm. So it is usually at the 9:30 or 10:00 position just in front of my right hip. The high ride height causes the bottom of the mag carrier to sit just below my belt. That makes it comfortable for me when I sit down as it won't poke me in the leg. Since it is in the appendix position it covers up very well with my shirt.

I have an old velcro pouch I use to carry (1) 12 round extra mag for my 40. Cut the top and the belt hoop off to make it slim. Just slides into my pocket. Maining use it to keep my pocket lint out of the mag. I carry a 40 EDC and a small 9mm BUG on the belt and IWB so its just easier to pop it in my pocket.

I use Comp-Tac OWB single mag pouches. I think I also have one from DeSantis that is leather and is a double pouch. Nice enough and works fine but for some reason I don't wear it much anymore.

I always carry a spare magazine. This is my absolute favorite when I carry my Baer “Stinger”, it’s a Milt Sparks combo that they don’t produce anymore:

For my Walther PPS I use Comp-TAC:

For my PPQ I use Kaluban Cloak:

I use a cell phone case with the fold over magnetic flap.
( Actually 2, one on each side. One with 380 the other with 9mm ) No one seems to notice or care. I do have some business cards in both so if anyone does ask I can say it is my card holder and slip one out to hand them.

added my phone is in my font pocket in the watch pocket.

I EDC the same only in coyote. For "heavy" carry I'll add a double mag carrier from High Noon behind the hip.

i bought a bunch of Uncle Mikes mag holsters years ago. clip on design. not recommended for CCW, because they easily pivot out of position when sitting down, especially in car. i do like the versatility of tek-
    lok holsters, worth checking out.

I am in the planning stages of making my own Kytex holsters and magazine holders, seen some real nice ones hear, if you have the time check out DIY youtube videos on this, it is pretty straight forward and you get custom fit stuff when doing it your self. Nice leather here to but to me leather is some thing you want to show off not hide.
