I just got the competition range bag from Midway at the suggestion of a friend. I've only had it for a couple weeks, but so far it's been great.
Yeah, the Midway bags are pretty good and they make a couple of different sizes so you can go big if you carry lots of stuff or go small if you don't.

They go on sale every so often so if you aren't in a hurry it might pay to watch their site for a few weeks.

For Top Quality you might look at 511 Tactical.
Get the big Midway bag.

I picked up a 511 tactical bag and agree the quality is top notch. There's a video on youtube demonstrating all the features. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
Check out the NRA bags at the NRA store online. All proceeds go to the ILA.

I just picked up a blackhawk sportster for $22 on ebay. So far I love it. Great bag for two pistols.
BLACKHAWK! Sportster Pistol Range Bag - BLACKHAWK!
Picked up one of these 2 years ago... Has 2 padded pistol rugs and plenty of room. It didn't break the bank either. I can get eyes, ears and ammo in with my guns.

I have a 18 year old Blue Dillon Range Bag that has served me well. It came with a padded gun insert bag which I do not use. I keep 1 or 2 guns in it wrapped in a cloth cleaning rag along with hearing and eye protection and mags for my Glocks. In the outer pockets I carry a Glock Parts package with lots of parts, the ones that tend to spring away when taking down a Glock and cleaning supplies. I carry a separate Dillon Border Shift bag for ammo so I can balance the load on my two shoulders. The border shift bag has between 400 and 600 rounds in it for my G-19's. All that ammo has been Chamber Checked before being loaded into the bag. I hope you chamber check your ammo cause if it is out of spec it will take your gun down. I am Dillon Blue top to bottom with no reservations.

Uncle Mikes Small Tact Briefcase....actually quite large bag with lots of pockets to secure several handguns and ammo.
Been using mine now for a year with no issues.
Since I spent most of my money on guns & ammo, I was looking for an alterative bag. Home Depot had these Husky tool boxes on sale for $12...

I've owned a few over the years. Currently using a small Beretta gear bag. Simple design, works fairly well.
In got this one Amazon.com: Allen Company Deluxe Tactical Range Bag: Sports & Outdoors
from amazon, works well for me.
