    Re: gun belt??

There is a local guy in Florida, www.ridgidholsters.com The members at Florida Concealed Carry swear by his belts. I'm looking at picking up black w/ black stitching. You can read reviews in the holsters section at FCC. The site is down today for upgrades. Check out the link. They look great and each belt is custom made per order. Hope this helps.

The Brommeland custom is the best one I have ever worn, but it may take awhile to receive it.

Depends what it is for i ordered a belt from old faithful holster when i ordered a holster. I am still waiting on the belt and holster. I wanted one for work and got it because i didn't want to spend $100 on a belt then destroy it. Paid about $45 for the undyed belt.

As far as I see Gun belts are just overpriced heavy duty work belts. My Duluth Trading company buckleless belt works perfect for me. It isnt called a gun belt on their site, but it lists a holster as one of its uses. I think just a thick stiff piece of leather is fine, and youll save money by not looking specifically for a "gun belt"

    gun belt??

A proper gun belt will be made of two layers of 6-8oz leather glued and stitched together to make stiff platform to support the weight of a gun and magazines without flopping outward.

A&G Gunleather makes excellent. fry belts. ns he usually keeps standard configurations that he can ship quickly.

Not sure if that's always the standard....plenty of quality stiff gun belts are made from one piece of leather. Check into Simply Rugged.

    +1 :)

Not cheap (start around $80) but first rate products that will far outlast less expensive department store belts.
