Voodoo Tactical or Condor Chest Rigs?

Does anyone have any experience with Voodoo Tactical's kit? Specifically any of their chest rigs.

They look pretty well set up, and aren't too pricey.

But, does anyone have any input on their durability, or quality of materials and construction?

I am looking at this one: Amazon.com: Voodoo Tactical 20-9931 Tactical MOLLE Chest Rig: Sports & Outdoors

But also think this one from Condor looks okay too, and is cheaper:

Amazon.com: Condor Recon Chest Rig (Tan): Sports & Outdoors

I still have an assortment of MOLLE compatible pouches from when I was AD, so either one will be customized.

I have a condor plate carrier that after limited use broke a buckle . Other than that it is ok, however I did go and melt several loose threads . I have since switched to a maxpedition chest rig that I find works much better and has seen more rough use. Not seeing the rig I have, but these site seems to have decent stuff from what I have heard.

try here: Gear, Training, Consulting, & Necessary Evils

I have bought some good stuff from these guys--they are right off Ft. Bragg on Yadkin Rd. and they cater to the SF/Delta community.

This is a bit of a zombie thread. I got a rig to tide me over for now, although I am really digging the Haley strategic disruptive environments rig.

I have a condor chest rig that I use for three gun and carbine matches.

It has served it's purpose with no issues.

Voodoo Tactical or Condor Chest Rigs?

Condor and Voodoo are cheap for a reason.

Will they hold up to a bit of range time and occasional classes? Yes.

If you are doing a lot of training and classes then look elsewhere.

SKD, Esstac, HSGI,Original SOE, Eagle Industries, Mayflower, Tyr are just a few names to start you off.

Do you have to spend a a lot? No. Check out the equipment exchange on m4carbine or ar15.com

People are always selling off gear they didn't need in the first place.

For gear as potentially important as a chest rig, I agree with a leaning toward high-end rather than value-priced. I wouldn't put Cooper Tires on my Porsche, but they work fine on my farm truck.
