Have you used clp for something other then your gun?

I use it to oil up my folding knives when they start to get squeaky.

Anyone else you clp or some other fire arm lubricant for unconventional means?

It's a good general-purpose shop lube for all sorts of things.

Like the old bottle of Singer sewing machine oil (back when), there are plenty of things I find for it. Basically, anything metal needing a bit of cleaning/lubing/protecting. Knives, scissors, hinges, among others. A quick zap and a few wipes, and a lot of things smooth right up, without all the dust-collecting mess of oils.

What haven't I used it for?! I used it to resurrect a 2 cylinder air compressor that had been flooded and seized up. I used it to salvaged a seized up refrigeration motor that had atypical bearings. I began using it on all the moving parts of my bike - including the chain because I found it quieter than the wax-based chain lubes I was using. Better than WD40 around the house because of it's lasting teflon film.

I have also used it for folding knives. I tried it on my beard trimmer and it worked like a charm. The trimmer is much quieter and cuts better now.
