I'm afraid it'll clash with my shoes.

I like the concept but have never seem one in any office I've ever been in so I think it would clash with this whole gray man thing I've got going on. Maybe I could put it around my ankle...

I met a cop weaing one the other day in the drive tru at work. Like I said, I don't see a lot of them so it stood out in my memory and I recognized him by it when he came back in street clothes with his wife. Doesn't do much for the grey man theory now does it?

Neat idea, but I dont see the point. If I wake up in the middle of the rain forest and need my bracelet, I did something really wrong. Or got dropped off and left by my girlfriend, ya never know.

Kudo's for a neat idea though.

I make my own so I have quite a few, I don't wear them all the time though. I did make a "memorial" one where I laced in an ID tag from my dog that recently passed.

I have it in a key fob. I haven't bought a bracelet though,am considering it. Maybe a monkey fist.

Not a bracelet guy, but if they figure out how to weave my PX4 Storm into a bracelet, that would be a survival bracelet I would wear!

IMHO, I think its silly. But more power to you all...

Can anyone point me to an actual person that was saved by this? Maybe that would convince me...

I guess when I get stuck in books da hoota, I will regret not having one... or two, one for each hand... or four, if you have the ankle ones too... (kidding)...

I find it comical how some people here don't see the point when people here are prepared for everything. Does it ever hurt to have another measure on your person if you ever needed it?

Better to have and not need, than need and not have.

My wife was making them for a spell, and on a whim I tossed one in my bag before going on a trip. I ended up unraveling it and using it to repair a tripod out in the boonies (3 hrs from the nearest town). Not exactly a 'survival' situation, but it was handy.

I do own a few of them. From different makers. I personally think the best are coming out of the Survivalbracelets.com
