Just received my Wilderness Tactical belt

Just got my black 1.75 inch 5 stitch instructors belt in today... Sure glad my father didn't own one of these when I was a kid, I could probably use this thing as a backup weapon.

Couldn't agree more with the opinions echoed on the forum about the importance of a good belt. Definitely more comfortable with the increased support for my gun and the fine tune adjustment makes a big difference as well.

Mine came last week. I got the 5 stitch 1.5". It is stiff. I do a lot of high work that comes with little warning. Being able to clip in for basic safety is great. I do notice that I need to keep it looser than a standard belt to do the same job.

I have had mine a little over six months. Very happy with it. Wearing right now with my Gen4 G26 in a Remora.

I saw some nylon "tactical" belts at Gander Mtn the other day but they seemed pretty flimsy. They could be folded in half pretty easy. Are Wilderness Tactical belts pretty thick and sturdy?

I got the 5 stitch and it does seem very sturdy. They also do one with extra reinforcement sewn in, like kydex I think- I can't say that I've compared it to any other brand tactical belts though

I have two of these, they really are the best gun belt I have ever worn. I went with the 1.5 inch 3 stitch version since 99% of the time I carry IWB, this is the "most flexible" of their offerings, but that is a bit of a relative statement! I wear these usually with jeans but sometimes also with khaki style pants with an untucked shirt. They're worth every penny of the price, which when you think about it compared to a lot of the horribly overpriced leather gunbelts out there, is very reasonable.

I went with the 1.75 CSM (the reinforced belt) and I'm very pleased with it. The extra width allows you to cinch it snugly without feeling like it's cutting into you. If you have a belly, use an unershirt until you can lose it so the buckle isn't uncomfortable when sitting.

So I got one on order... should arrive today...

I went with the original instructor belt, black, 1.75, 5 stitch...

Should arrive today (Friday) and I'll use it all weekend before reporting back next week...

I sure hope this thing lives up to the hype.

Ordered one Saturday (1.5" 5 stitch), should get it on friday. Can't wait to check it out. These belts get way too many praise's and reviews for me not to have one.

I also have the 1.5", 5 stitch - great belt. I also use a Galco, which is similar to the Wilderness, but if I had to choose, it would be the Wilderness every time.

I have 4 or 5 of the 1.5 inch 5-stitch; I sure wish that they made one in a dark brown.
