    DIY night sights? I did...

Hopefully this post will work. I'm trying it using taptalk on my phone.

I installed Trijicon's on my XD 9mm subcompact and my Sig P226. I'm a bit of a home hobbiest, so I purchased and used a P500 Sight tool from B&J Machining.

I've seen the air chisel video on YouTube, DONT DO THAT! Use plenty of oil and put your slide in the freezer for a couple hours beforehand. Then using firm but even pressure use the tool to push the sight out of the dovetail. Make sure you push it out from the right (ejector side) to the left. The. Install left to right (toword ejector)

    Hopefully these pics work.

I went with the "HD" hiviz orange front sight.
