Picked up a new flashlight.
I went to my local Target about a month ago with my wife and they had some LED flashlights for cheap. They had an "Eddie Bauer" Tac Torch which was a $32.00 flashlight for $14.00. It has three bright light chips in it. I bought it and have been satisfied with it. Found out that it is made by Coast Cutlery. Does anybody know anything about these? It seems to be a decent little light.
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

Doc,
I'm not familiar with your Eddie Bauer light, but I do carry this little LED made by Coast Cutlery on my key ring: http://www.combatcarry.com/vbulletin...ad.php?t=13505
I would have to say that Coast Cutlery makes some very good products IMO.

During a recent trip to Little Rock, AFB in Arkansas I passed by a Gander Mountain Store on the highway. The next morning I backtracked and found the store again. Got some great deals on camping/travel gear. Also found a Cyclops Xenon XCF Tactical flashlight. Good price too... $49.00. Black airplane aluminum, 80 lumens xenon bulb, pocket clip & belt sheath, red, blue, green & clear lenses, and 4 (2 extra) CR123 Lithium Batteries.
It's a great little light! The www.cyclopssolutions.com website has it listed for $89.00.
I'll switch back & forth between my Inova X5 & the Cyclops.
Wish there was a Gander Mtn closer to home.

I use either Surefire or Innova typically. But you can never have too many flashlights.

I Like My SureFire's...
As I had my Mag taken in a recent 'car theft', I found a 4-'D' cell Mag with the LED bulb...only $30...Man, the sucker is BRIGHT...
Now, it is a four cell, and a great 'extra' weapon for the car...what a light!
I do carry my E2e for self-defense...
Check out the 4-cell Mag with the LED light...at Home Depot...NICE!

For vehicle carry I use two 3 D cell Maglights, one for each side of my Jeep. Always handy.
For personal carry I use either an Inova X5 or Cyclops XCF, both are built well & throw a good beam.

I have one of those, too. The only difference is the words "River Rock" on the side. It's about 4 5/8" long. The pocket clip is about 2" long. It's a hair under 3/4" wide at the lens, and the body is just a hair over 1/2" wide (call it 9/16").
It's a nice little pocket light. Mine rides in my briefcase 24/7.

I picked up a River Rock flashlight at Target today at lunchtime. It's a sharp little light well worth the $10 I paid for it.
Thanks for posting about it here.
Now I have 3 new lights that are vying for pocket space.

YES! My every day carry flashlight is a Coast Cuttlery Tactorch! Mine has a 1 watt LED in it, takes 3 standard AAA batteries and is bright enough to really hurt someones eyes if shined in their face. In fact, it has the "Laser device warning" sticker on the side of the flashlight.
Mine was $38.00 at Lowes and I love it. It is compact and easy to use and carry.

I use the Surefire E2D executive defender flashlight. It is 65 Lumens and has a strike bezel that can be used as an impact weapon. We also have the less expensive G2 Nitrolon. They are great lights compact bright and easy to carry.
