Who makes "good" mags for rifles
I'm looking to get some good high cap mags for a Mini 14, and maybe some AR mags too. I don't have either of these rifles yet, but with the possible reimplementation of the AWB with the Dems taking over, I could always sell them later and make a few bucks.
Either way, I want reliable,
Who's do you use?

If I have to explain it, you wouldn't understand

they make really nice stuff. Also, I would tell you pick up a Beta Mag. Actually I would pick up a couple. There about 249.00 right but if there is another ban they will get back up to the 800 dollar range real fast. At least withing 5 years. Thats still a 25% per year increase on your investment. Can't do that with most mutual funds.

For AR mags, Mag Pulls and Brownells are tops, IMHO. For a Mini-14, I've personally never found anything but factory mags to be reliable. (I'll qualify that by saying that I have not owned a Mini-14 for over a decade, so my info might be a bit dated.)

Ruger factory 20 Rd. mags are available at many gun shows and they are absolutely reliable. PMI 30 Rd. are good too

AR mag. most mil spec are just fine. If you look on AR15.com they have a run down on order of best to fair. The only ones to really stay away from are the nylon (Israel)mags and commercial mags.
