Ok I found some info on this light complete with specs and cost. It looks like it may be available for purchase.. About 225.00. Batts and charger is an extra 75.00.
This thing outputs 4100 lumens. :gah: A normal D Cell Mag puts out about 50 lumens.

and for how long you can hold it in your hand before the heat gets to you?

My little 60-65 lumens works quite well and lasts...a long time (90min?)...
4,500 lumens...who is attacking?...the entire 5th regiment?
I'll stick with SureFire...
