    Replacement sights for M&P 9c

I've always had some difficulty seeing the standard white dot sights (the rear one) on my M&P 9c due to being far sighted in my right eye. Now, the white dots have partially rubbed off making it almost impossible to see. I'm considering replacement sights such as the Truglo TFO Tritium. Wanted to get any opinions/reviews about these sights and/or suggestions for other sights to consider. Thanks!

Glossy white fingernail polish did the trick on my M&P. The front sight quickly lost its white surface, and since I re-finished it with the nail polish, it has worked great.

I too am farsighted. I put Meprolights on my M&P 9c and they work fine for me. I also found that the Ameriglo that I put on my G26 work great for me as well. I tend to put night sights on all of my carry guns.

Friend of mine (local chief of police now retired) says his whole dept. went to Trijicon sights. They get great reviews but was wondering why the sights for the M&P are so much more expensive than the same sights for the Sigs or Glocks. Anyone know? Just curious.

This here .... I have XS 24/7 Big dots on my Ruger SR40C and they are absolutely fantastic. They are fast to align, very accurate as seld defense distances, and incredibly rugged.

I think I've settled on the TruGlo sights instead of the Trijicon. The TruGlo is $100 and the Trijicon is $145 (for M&P 9c). I can't justify the price difference. Haven't "pulled the trigger" yet.
