    I need a good gun/dress belt....suggestions?

I need a good dress belt for work, 1.25" that is worn with a tucked in shirt. It must be able to support an IWB Glock 30S (in case I need to carry). Any suggestions???

Alessi gunleather, Galco, Beltman, Gunner's Alley. I own examples from each. All make good products. That said - all holster makers make good belts. Just find the one that looks good to you. (My wife prefers the Galco) Stay away from department stores. Even though they're expensive, they're garbage for your purposes.

I've got (2) Dillon Leather gun belts that are 16+ years old and are still in great shape! They are not cheap but are worth it IMHO!

1 1/4" belt is iffy for what you want to do. Will 1 1/2" not fit your belt loops?

That said, a reinforced Beltman Gun Belts by The Belt Man or A&G AG Custom Gun Leather | Premium Hand Crafted Leather Belts would be your best bet for a 1 1/4 incher. I have wider belts from both and they are equal in quality. Read up on the materials and manufacturing process so you are not tempted to go to a cheaper maker using cowhide instead of bull hide for one or both layers.

    I have a 1 1/2" Galco SB3 - good for the S&W model 36 but not anything heavier.

    Galco SB1:

    Galco SB1 Dress Belt FREE S&H SB1-34B, SB1-46B, SB1-32, SB1-40, SB1-38B, SB1-40B, SB1-38, SB1-32B, SB1-34, SB1-36, SB1-36B, SB1-42, SB1-42B, SB1-44, SB1-44B, SB1-46. Galco Belts.

And since GunnyBunny was a little cryptic with his post, it's a good idea to follow the manufacturer's sizing instructions.

Galco has their belt sizing instructions here:
