Crimson Trace Laser Grip for Ruger LCR .38

I am asking for a quick review of how the laser grip for the Ruger LCRs work. I like the LCR well enough, however I'm not a huge fan of the Hogue Tamer grips on it. I am wondering how well the laser grips reduce recoil and carry in a front pocket.

Mine came with the Lasergrips, so I cannot compare to the Houge grips. They are a hard plastic, and conceal in a pocket just fine - not grabby at all. If recoil is a concern, you can always wear padded gloves for practice.

I prefer the hogue grips. Though I've not shot with the crimson trace grips. I'm not a huge fan of lasers and the hard plastic grips don't interest me.
