Anyone else try reloading A-merc brass? I tried some .40 S&W , and they all seem to deprime hard, if at all. Some took 3 tried to deprime. Finally my Dillion depriming pin broke. no worries, Dillon replaced it for free, even after I told em it was my fault.
Hello. I have tried it in 9mm and like the loaded ammo itself, I've found the cases less than satisfactory having lots and lots of lattitude in dimensions. I do not recommend American Ammunition in loaded form and have found the cases not worth picking up.

Starline is used by me for ALL pistol reloads. Have noticed that DT uses it,as do others.
The Amerc migh use a very heavy crimp or it might be set deep and sealed.
As others have said,file it.

I've never run into any yet but the .45 shooters/reloaders I've been around have all warned me off it. Even with the low case pressures of .45 case splits are fairly common on reloads, primers hard to remove and very inconsistent case dimensions. Sounds like a bad bet!
Seems Winchester works easier, lasts longest. Federal isn't bad either. I usually get my reloads from my own shooting or PD qualification from acquaintances. So no buying brass for me.
A-Merc ammo is junk and my one experience with it left me never wanting to see it again! Bought 100 rounds of 9mm and oh my - what a waste of cash.
I never even tried to use the brass - and seems like most no one else would bother either. Win brass certainly reloads pretty well many times and yeah Fed is OK. But for bought brass, agree with RSSZ - Starline is excellent.
I got about 6-700 emptys of .40 Fioochi , win, & fed brass. just cleaned it all up. Looks like I need to get busy and start loading.
It's been my expierance that most name brand brass is great. Win,Fed,Rem,Herters,Norma(remember them) and the others work well.
For pistol uses(except for the long range,T/C guys) I mix and match all my brass. Even the nickle plated with the regular.
For rifle,I weigh all my brass and group it by weight. Some of it can be vastly different. This WILL effect accuracy with rifles. -------

Just got done with the brass I received. My count was a bit off, looks like I have about 2,000 casings to reload! Guess I will be busy for a while.
i have found out that their brass is hard to reload. don't know why. had some in 380 and it would not re-sized. made a mark mid way down on the case and some would stick in the re-sizing die.
