So...Did you buy yourself something firearm related this year for Christmas?
Or...why our NEWS stories seem like it's the exact same spew.....no matter what channel you happen to have on.
Now onto the serious topic..............
Now....what related gear did you buy for yourself this year for Christmas?
Or are you planning on buying anything for yourself.
My Wife tells me exactly what she wants for Christmas but, it is almost impossible for her to shop for me. So I usually buy my own "stocking stuffers" - it's much better that way.
I bought some Tuff Ties (disposable cuffs) for the Bug Out Bag - and a UZI Tactical Pen since my kubaton ring broke off of my keychain.
I figured that I might as well buy something that can do double duty as a "force multiplier" and as a working pen.
I also bought a much lighter more compact stun gun for the B.O.B. and some better hammock tree straps.

I decided to get my AR a new brother, so I picked up a Daniel Defense V5.
A couple weeks ago a XDs 9mm, Crimson Trace laser and Cross Breed holster.
I ordered a Lone Wolf 40-9 threaded conversion barrel for one of my Glocks. I've been waiting months for Gemtech to stock the Blackside .45 piston core for the .40. No luck so far. I finally broke down and bought a 1/2x28 adapter from The Silencer Store.

Last week I picked up a LNIB Dan Wesson Cbob and said it was my Christmas. I guess I was on Santas extra nice list because yesterday I picked up a Springfield EMP as well. It's ok that was my "last" firearm purchase, (for the year).
I have had plenty of years where I would or could buy whatever I liked for myself, and did so. This year, and this time of this year, its a bit of a financial squeeze for me. We are moving homes & offices, and expenses are up as a result.
Anyway, I wanted to get my son what he wanted, (a new computer), and got something nice for my wife (a total surprise to her), and Im happy with that. Taking care of the family during the worst economy since The Great Depression, is gift enough for me.
One really odd thing; The wife and I were out of town last night, and hit an auction barn. No sooner than I walk in, someone calls out my name. It was a former client. He said that he had been looking for me so that he could pay what he owed me.
During this Depression, I can assure you all, that people have not been tracking me down to pay what they owe, lol. That was a very nice Christmas surprise.
Sig Sauer P220 in Scorpion....
Can't pick it up until Jan 2.
8 day release here in the People's Republic which would put it next Friday but the LGS is closed between Christmas and New Year's.
Bought myself a new HTC One Max and a Fenix PD35.
I like all kinds of foreign guns.

Ordered two for my brothers and decided, why not just get another for myself? The Christy Knife Company | Home of the handiest pocket knife ever designed

I like that little Christy knife.

I haven't bought anything yet. I have my $50 Nation's Finest rebate check from S&W & a few bucks saved up. All are earmarked for something gun related. Now to decide what. I'm thinking a new holster. I'd like to get a different gun case. Not quite enough for a new or used firearm but who knows? I think I'll hit a couple gun stores between Christmas & New Year.

I bought ammunitions for myself and to give as Stocking Stuffers this Christmas. My firearm inventory is fine, it is the ammunition inventory I am working on. I see maybe two pistols for me in the coming year, a Glock G30S and a dressed out Reminton 1911R1.
