    seems like an interesting ides. but it used the same magnetic locking mechanism that their wall units use. you have to have a special magnet key to unlock it, and you have to put it on exactly the right spot. in a defensive scenerio i think you would be alittle too shaken to do this effectively. still a cool idea though.

    That looks pretty sweet! I would like something like that for my house.

    This is a good point, but I could see this as a good idea in a room farthest from your safe. If for whatever reason you cannot get to a long gun or more mags a second location might not be a bad idea. Probably not the quickest entry, but better than nothing!

    Don't have this but when grand kids are not around do have some stashes. This might be a way to do it with grand kids around.

    I'd prefer a simple pressure latch. A key could be added if desired.
