    DPM Recoil Reduction

I have read some old posts regarding this company, and I was curious if there were any people currently still using their product, recoil reducing guide rod assembly? Is it worth the price?(which may be just person preference since stock guide rods work just fine) Any current experience would be very helpful. I do understand from my research that there are quite a few happy people out there using their product as well as the guy from the Gunblast blog.

    What you got?

I researched recoil deduction systems a while back. I looked at DPM as well as Sprinco. I ended up with a Sprinco for my PPQ and I am happy with the results.

I am really surprised that Sprinco doesnt make a reduction spring kit for G26/27 model.

I've had this in my Walther PPS .40 for a couple years. Personal preference. I liked it, but its been so long since I've run the factory springs/rod that I can't remember the magnitude of difference. I wish I had a way to measure it.

If it runs reliably then I see it as a major benefit to the performance of the firearm. Probably worth the purchase.

Back in the day, I bought a Haarts recoil reduction rod for a Sigma .40. Nicely made but I didn't notice any improvement. Seemed to me I wasted my money.
