    Beretta 92fs upgrades

Since I decided that I absolutely love my new Beretta 92fs, I figured I would perform a few upgrades that would only make me love it even more. My Hogue rubber grip panels arrived today which really improve the grip of the gun. Improved grip equals a much more steady shot. And it was only $12.

In the next couple of days, I should receive the steel trigger and D spring. The DA trigger pull is not too bad, but lightening that will make a much better first shot on the draw. And I am going to be ordering a metal recoil spring guide rod.

I was considering the skeletonized hammer, but I really don't like the way it looks. Is there really any benefit to having it over the stock hammer?

I have twin 92 FPs. Hammer out lets you know what condition your weapon is in in low/no light. Just sayin! Now, as for the decock on the FS.............. don't want it. But it is still a very fine weapon with the right HP ammo.

Note: I am not a gun snob. if all I have is a .25......................... then that is all I have. Just watch what the weak had does close in............................ Just sayin.

I have never considered any of my weapons as works of art, so much as I appreciate them for functional and reliable use........... kind of like a 16 oz. framing hammer............. so to speak. It gets the job done and you can rely on it!

This is primarily my duty weapon for security work. Other than that, I do look at it as a work of art. It really is a beautiful pistol. Once I build up my budget again, I will be grabbing a Glock 19 for concealed carry, but the Beretta will always be by my side at work.
