Sorry it has been awhile since I visited this post. I ordered my NF-2 thru Botach, don't ever order anything from these people. They took 3 weeks to get me my light and they sent the wrong one. They sent the LED version which is 45 lumens, far short of the 114 lumens of the NF-2. They refuse to answer the phone or call me back and they won't return emails. I finally emailed Streamlight as I had some questions. I mentioned to them about what a poor experience I had with Botach. They replied that they had heard this a lot lately and were looking into it, but they would be happy to send me the NF-2 with a return label for the NF-2 LED. I was shocked to say the least, now that is customer service. Got the correct light last week and really like it. The LED version is a whiter light as most LED are but the 114 lumens is a blinding light. You can't look into it like you can the LED version. The NF-2 is also smaller than the LED and it fits very nicely in the front pocket of the jeans. I find the slip ring for the belt clip to provide a great grip. I highly recommend this light to anyone wanting a good tach light, for around $35 bucks you can't beat the value and a lifetime warranty. Feel free to PM me with any ?

The P1D CE is nice but, I don't care for that many options on a twisty switch. Seems kinda anoying to me but alot of people love it. And yes it is the brightest for its size. IMHO it would be perfect if it had 2 brightness settings low and high. You turn it on at first and its on low, then twist a bit more and you get high. That would be ideal in my little world. Unfortunately I don't know of any lights like this.

That is exactly how it works, just dont twist it any more than 2 times and you will never see the other modes. Although I could see the strobe coming in handy in an emergency.

I really like Surefires, and carry at least one of mine daily.
But, I also carry 2 to 3 Fenix's EDC ( a couple of Cree AA models & an L0D). The Fenix lights are just plain handy.
