I was never a fan of anything except bullets and cleaning rags going down my barrel.

NOT WITH THIS PERSON!!!! I think they are the worst Idea I've seen - and I've seen a lot of bad ones.

I have a buddy who has one and likes it. Personally, they scare me.

Yeah, nothing between your body and the trigger. That should be a deal breaker for just about everybody, no matter what you carry.

I would not use a versacarry under ANY circumstances.... They look to be sheer unadulterated garbage mixed with a little bit of damage to the inside of the barrel along with a helping of let me shoot myself in the leg...

PS: sorry if they are a sponsor

I used to think the Clip Draw was the most dangerous carry option available after Mexican carry.

then along came Versa, shoving a rod up the barrel.

No, I think you're still right. Clip Draw is the worst in MY book! Right below the infamous Mexican carry. Since the Versa at least has a rod to secure it (until you sit according to this poster) it comes 3rd. So these, IMO, are all at the bottom of the list for worst ways to carry. And some people like them and use them. Go figure .....

<sarcasm> It makes sense, you draw in a desperate panic, at an angle, break the plastic rod off and you shoot a plastic bullet at the the BG, or if your lucky, it will get lodged in the barrel and the gun with explode on you! </sarcasm>

Isn't one of the core rules of gun safety to never stick anything in the barrel or shoot with an obstructed barrel.... Never understood why any one would use such a thing
