Thumbs up The Wilderness... Now that is service!

My The Wilderness belt finally gave up the Velcro some 6 months ago after some 5 years of faithful and daily service. I have an Uncle Mike clone that was doing the duty but I felt bad about relegating the TW belt to one side so about a week or so ago, I went to TW's site and used their contact us page to ask them if they could fix the belt. I noticed that the page (and the site) had under construction announcements and that generic feeling of not quite ready but I took the chance.
I had forgotten about the belt and the site but today I got a call from TW (very sweet young lady) and after inquiring if I had recieved their answer via email (I really don't remember, I get so much spam that I might have deleted them) I was asked to send the belt to them to replace the velcro paying only shipping. Now that is service!

And if you send in your buckle to use on an old belt, the give you ten bucks off a new one.

I really like my Wilderness belt. It's good to know that their service will back it up if they need to.

That is good to hear. I just ordered a belt and one of their safepackers.

    Thumbs up

Quick update. Yesterday i got my belt back. At first i thought they gave up and sent me a new one because it looked almost pristine! Not only that they replaced all the velcro but I think they cleaned the heck out of it. I know it is still the old one because of some particular markings. My hats off and thanks to The Wilderness people... just superb.
