Night sites for USP Compact 9mm

I want to put night sites on my USP Compact 9mm, when I get it. Anyone have any recommendations for one manufacturer over another? Looks like I have my choice between Meprolights or Trijicons. Meprolights have an adjustable sight which appeals to me a little, but wonder if that is appropriate for a carry gun. Are they difficult to install?

I would vote for the Trij's...just put them on my Glock-36...a 'smith can do it an just a few minutes...(not easy to do yourself without the special tools).

I put Heine straight eights on my .40 USPc and love them. They make target acquisition easier. I would definitely consider them. The only drawback is that the gunsmith that I use was cussing me out for ordering them. Apparently they weren't that easy to install:)

I have Trijicons on my G21, and my wifes HK USPc 9mm. On my G30 I have Meprolights/Glocks brand. I like the Meprolights some what better because of the lager white ring.

You should look at XS Sights http://www.xssights.com/store/handgun.html. A buddy is getting a set, and I can't wait to try them out.

I'd be intersted in hearing about the XS Sights, do you mind posting a few thoughts once you've tried them out?

My buddy did not get the XS sights. If I get a chance to try them out I will post my thoughts.

I have had a few sets of the XS sights. They are fast, and do work as advertised. I keep going back to a standard 3 dot system though.
In combat shooting, its all instinctive, up close and personal. So the XS really does no good for me. I would rather have a 3 dot sight system in case I need to make a tough shot.

Save your money on the adjustable option... they are no good on a carry gun.
