I have 2 gun safes made by Access One in Kentucky. Bought it from cheaperthandirt.com on closeout several years ago.
Uses 4 AA batts for a four button programmable combination. Plastic. Found out I could break into it by removing the hinge pins. Not super secure, but works within it's limitations.
Wife spilt soda in one of them and it no longer works. Anybody know or use these, or where they might be sold?

I have not had the opportunity to play with those yet but have had the chance to use a mechanical style safe (electronics and batteries scare me with my bed side safe). Have you thought about going with a mechanical styles safe? Something like this is what I will be going with when I decide to purchase one http://www.safetysafeguards.com/site...duct/2912-S-TD
