Nice looking mag. I like the WC style follower to help keep it oriented properly. Good price, too. Nineteen bucks dealer pricing and free shipping if you belong to their Edge program.

And with Brownell's - They are what they say they are or you get your money back with a smile. Try one or three. You can't lose when you buy from Brownell's.

Sturdy, Reliable, All-Purpose Mag For Any Application

Much like our popular AR-15/M16 magazines, we wanted any 1911 mags wearing the Brownells name to be reliable, first and foremost. So we decided on a traditional design with a twist: all-stainless steel construction. The body is plenty thick to stand up to hard use, with witness holes for checking round-count, and you’ll never have to worry about rust. The Xylan® exterior coating drastically reduces friction and wear to make this one of the smoothest-running 1911 mags we’ve ever seen. Plus, it’s non-reflective matte black, so it’ll still appeal to folks who prefer a traditional blued finish. Anti-tilt, formed-steel follower resists binding and won’t get chewed up, no matter how many rounds you put through this mag. Extra-power spring further enhances reliability. 7-Rd model is the classic GI-style mag that has served 1911 shooters for over a century. It has a flat, welded-on floorplate that is drilled to accept bumper pads with .525" spacing. 8-Rd model has a removable polymer base pad that frees up enough internal space to accommodate the extra round without compromising reliability.
    Available individually or in 3-Packs.

I think I'll order a couple 8 rounders just for the heckuvit.
I typically stick with 7 round mags in my 1911's, but what the heck.

I dont do 1911s. But, I sure do AR 15s. And I can tell you all that my top pick in an AR 15 mag are the Brownells.

I have a ....heck, a lifetime supply of them, probably, lol. I ordered a lot right after sandy hook.

I have various models of them, and all of them are great. I like them better than Pmags, and I have a fair number of those, as well.

If the brownells 1911 mags are anything like their AR 15 mags, they are good to go.

The 6 I bought last month run hardball and HP's with equal vigor. I'll order another 6 next month. I've been purchasing from them for ages and never had a problem. Since I feel I need 10 mags for each of my 1911's I've pretty much settled on Brownells 8 rounders as a bargain.

All the mags I've bought through them and I never had theirs pop up with the rest.
Maybe that's why they had to send me the email, lol.

They need to check their math. One for $18.99, or three for $64.99.

I see one for 18.99 and three for 59.67, which is still higher than buying three separately.
The seven rounders seem to be correct.

I just see one of their "techs" just popped on. I think I'll mess with him, lol.

OK, the discrepancy has been reported. They posted the sale pricing before realizing they made a mistake.

Tell them Stripesdude on the DC forum deserves a prize!

Nonetheless, seem like good mags, and sure as heck beats double or triple that for Wilson.

I agree Stripes. WC seems to be charging a premium because of their name and rep. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there's deals to be had elsewhere.

Bought few of these mags awhile ago. Excellent fit/finish and 100% reliable in 4 different 1911s I own.

I like their followers also, I've replaced about 50% of mine so far with the Checkmate "Bull Nose" followers.
